Ashley Grimes is a native of Abbeville, Alabama who resides in Syracuse NY. As of August 2023, Ashley completed her administrative degree: Certificate in Advance Studies: Educational leadership in school building and district level leadership at Le Moyne college. This fall, Ashley will enter in her twelfth year as an educator with a dual position outside the classroom. With her passion for teaching, she was inspired to pursue leadership. She enjoys traveling, spending time with family along with participating in community service. She also enjoys tutoring students in math. Ashley is a proud member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Incorporated, Order of Eastern Star (Prince Hall Affiliate, Pentecost Evangelical Missionary Baptist Church, alumni committee member at SUNY Oswego and Lemoyne College, life member of National Council of Negro Women, Members Council Board member at the Everson Museum, life member of the National Association of the Advancement of Colored people and VERA House (Syracuse Aging Service Coalition) committee member. In spring of 2024, she plans to enroll in the doctoral program to pursue executive leadership. In all, Ashley gives Honor to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She gives credit to her parents and sister for their unconditional love.  Ashley is motivated by the Bible scripture Philippians 4:13- “I Can Do All Things Through Christ Who Strengthen Me”.
