Mission & Values

The Mission of House of Psalms 23 is dedicated to breaking the cycle of poverty, abuse, and incarceration by restoring balance and harmony through individual empowerment. We aim to empower women to reach a level of lifelong self-sufficiency through advocacy, education, and therapeutic case management.

The community at House of Psalms 23 aims to provide a safe place where women can focus on healing and restoration. Staff utilizes the Mission Statement and Core Values to reach the clientele in a healthy productive manner. The agency’s Core values are Compassion, Empowerment, Patience, and Perseverance. These values allow the client and staff to fully immerse themselves in the service and work at their own pace.

Patience-Accepting the setback and allowing yourself to work through the challenge with a positive attitude. Each step taken is slow but steady to reach one’s goal and is done with clarity and understanding.

Perseverance-Reminding you to use your inner strength and faith to propel you forward.

The House of Psalms 23 is a 501 c(3) non-profit organization. Amongst all of the services offered on-site we also offer faith-based services and welcome all denominations.
